Based in Norcross, Georgia began his career in 1987 as an embroidery artist. He manually drafted designs specifically for the embroidery machine. James worked his way to digitizer, customer service then to technology as an Application and Marketing Support Specialist. |
James has assisted in writing manuals as well as written a number of articles on embroidery. James began to create and manage fonts becoming a font specialist thus netting him the name “Font Man”. James continued to teach on fonts through videos and conference appearances.
James started his own embroidery shop and ran it successfully for 6 years before being introduced to the Wilcom software. He went on to work full time as a contractor using Wilcom and was so amazed with the technology; he felt with his experience he could serve Wilcom on a much larger scale by supporting and training the customer base. He later joined the Wilcom family. With the combined efforts of his esteemed colleagues, Wilcom University was formed. This allowed basic online training educating the customer base on the Wilcom software.
James is an instrumental, valued and extrememly well respected member of the Wilcom team.
