I just ordered the DRAwing 5 pro the newest version, it looks pretty robust to me only time will tell. Has any anyone here used this new version? What do you think? David

Based on what I've seen you will love it. I saw the new Creative DRAWings 5 (which is the entry level version) and DRAWings 5 Pro, in South Africa a month or so back. Easy and powerful.

There is plenty of video and tutorial info from different resellers as well as the manufacturere. Try www.drawstitch.com or www.creative-drawings.com.au

Hi David, I Beta Tested Creative DRAWings and have taught both Creative DRAWings and DRAWings PRO since they were introduced. You are correct, the power and flexibility of both Creative and DRAWings PRO are incredible. My production of commercial designs and for my own use have increased 10 fold since I started using them - and I have at least 5 different brands of software that I have taught. All have good features, but for the price and power DRAWings can't be beat. If you want to check out more about how to use the your software, I have a Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/creativedrawings/ and you are welcome to join us. Both versions are taught. The only difference between the two is that DRAWings PRO has manual control over the sewing parameters of stitch length, underlay, pull compensation and density and there is an extra Text module added to the Wings' basic module. Right now I am working on a video for our group teaching how to trace a bitmap - there will be a basic lesson and extended lesson available. If you have any questions, please let me know.
