Has anyone purchased or paid for the subscription for Adobe Illustrator's Embroidery i2 Plug-in? I know some people were complaining about having to pay for a software subscription, and I personally think that paying $6,400 for a software plug-in is a bit much, but I was just curious if anyone has used it and think it's worth what they're asking. Also, how does it compare to other software programs you've used?

| That is a lot for just a plug-in plus the cost of Adobe Illustrator adds to the cost. You would be better to get Wilcom DecoStudio or EmbroideryStudio Level 1 and maybe level 2 for less, and it comes with over 140 hand digitized Embroidery Alphabets the plus the full CorelDraw X4 Graphic Suite and more |

| I already have Adobe Illustrator, that's why I was excited to see there was a plug-in for it that could do embroidery....then I saw the price and said, "ummm no." :-D I'll have to look into Deco Studio. Illustrator's plug in would have been perfect since I use a mac and it would save me from having to load windows onto it and running parallels or bootcamp. |
