I am currently looking at buying an embroidery business. The person has a Tajima model TMM-HC606 and I am wondering if anybody can tell me what this machine is worth. I called tajima and they said the trade-in is about $2000.00. The owner says it is worth between $16000 and $20000. Does this sound right ? I searched the web and could not find any TMM models. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, J

You will have to wait untill some more machine savy (than I) people answer your message... But $2000 is outragious.... tajima probably didnt want to help you? Chances are they may want to buy it? As for the price it would depend on the condition of the machine. If it was modern... Ie with trimmers and auto colour change ETC and was in good condition then the price would be OK...... But the devil is in the details....... Try calling their (Tajima's) competitors..... they at least wont have a vested interest in the brand. Embroidery Source in Melbourne are the mob I brought my Barudan machine off and they have talked straight since day one. My guess is even if they know you do not intend to buy a machine off them they will be none the less be truthful and courteous.......they always have been..... good bunch..... Call them..... One of the machine tech's there will no doubt know how much this is worth.... and will most likely be willing to discuss things with you a little.
