Hi People,

Can someone help me? I'm trying to give a solid box like shape a thin satin stitch outline to give the shape a better finish but i cant figure it out. im using wilcom es65, any advice would be great.

Hi Alan,

highlight your object and create your outline object with the off-set object function (It's in the toolbar, some blue rectangles, next to the stippling button in ES2006). Or which version are you using?

im using ES65, i cant see the tool you mention in the toolbar?

Hi Alan,

you mentioned before that you are working with ES65; I was not asking for the level, but for the version. If you don't know, just let me know the color of your dongle, the letter before the figures on the dongle would also be an indicator for the version

Alan,

as far as i remember, go to Insert/off-set object and follow the windows. Remembe, if your outline comes out e.g. as run that you can convert the run by highlighting/right-click - Input C with Satin stitch
