Hello,

I cannot get my Truesizer program to stop making unsightly start and end stitches in my design when I save it as a different format. I have played with the auto start and end commands in the program, but to no avail... What is the trick? I want it to start and end in the position I have digitized, not in the center of the design as it is doing.

Could you tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks so much,

Cherie

Hi Cherie,

To digitize your Starting and Ending point

Are you using Truesizer 2006 if so, When select 'Auto Start and End' under the EMBroidery' menu click the 'Use Auto Start and End' and make sure it's on and then turn on the 'Digitize Auto Start/End Point' and make sure its 'on' under the Method and then click 'OK' then left click were you want the Starting and Ending to be.  If you want the starting to be different than the ending then also turn on 'Seperately' after you click OK, left click where you want your starting point to be then left click again where you want your ending point to be.

Greg,
Thanks so much for your reply...I did follow your instructions to fix the problem, and was able to move the start/end points, but it did not fix the problem. All it did was add a jump stitch from the start point to the center and back to the start point before sewing the design. The software continues to cause the machine to return to the center of the completed stitched design and sew a number of unsightly anchoring stitches at the design's center point after the final color is sewn out. I am using the latest version (Wilcom truesizer 2006). I am also now having a problem with it adding small stitches between jumps. It wasn't doing that before. Also, can you define 'trim' for me?
Thanks so very much for your help!

Hi Cherie,

When you set your Auto Start and End at the bottom is the Jump clicked on like the display? What machine format are you saving it to and what type of embroidery machine are you using? Dose it have auto trimmers?

Hi Gregg,

Yes, my Babylock Ellure does have auto trimmers. I am using Embroidery Magic II to digitize in DST and then, opening up in Wilcom Truesizer to convert the file to PES. I did follow the screen diagram exactly as shown, but the "sew out" still is jumping from the end digitized point to the center, adding several locking stitches at the center point, and then jumping back to the end digitized point. The start up stitching has the same "jump to center- anchor - return to stitch" pattern of sewing as at the end.

Thanks again,

Cherie
