Hi Alan,
right-click onto your pull comp button or select pull comp in the properties window. Add either pull comp or column width or a combo of both. Pull comp will let the underlay stay in its position in relation to the vector shape, column width will move the underlay outwards.

Thanks for that barbara, will that work on objects like a tree without any leaves? we have done a great sample on polo shirt material, the customer was very happy with it and wants some done but he's also asked for a couple of fleeces too, i've noticed some thinner texts dont show up too good on fleece material and im a bit worried about doing them. Hi Alan,

I am not quite sure what you mean with Fleece. Here in Germany Fleece is the a knit material, mostly made out of Polyester looking almost like felt. Very flat types excist but also with longer hairs. Polarfleece looks like short Teddy Bear fur. In US I learnt Fleece is the material sweat shirts are made off.

In both cases, you need to add some pull compensation to compensate the loft, probably another underlay type, like zigzag might be helpful. Usually in my designs the pull comp increases the softer the material is and the higher the pile.
