Hi Iladesal,

Two that I know of:

- Inbro RSC-1201
- Toyota AD851

See the Embroidery Machines list under the Resorces section of this site. It contains a list of different machine vendors. Email them and they might be able to assist you.

Brenden

I don't think Toyota still makes the 851, they have been replaced by the EX9000. Alot of the machines machines on the market are 11 or more needles up to 15. There is only one with the single needle head. Then everyone else is multi-needle.

Hello!
I saw the Inbro single needle RSC-1201 in operation at the Long Beach ISS Show recently, and was very impressed. Does anyone have any information on this machine? Pros or Cons? I'd be very interested.
Thanks so much!

Hello
We have just taken delivery of a new Inbro single needle machine. After a couple of days use, its working well. Great stitch quality and its much quieter as there are less moving parts. You do hear the compressor cut in from time to time for a few seconds. All in all we are very pleased with it.

A 1 needle machine with a compressor, which changes the thread colors. The Inbro sounds like it’s an old Melco Vantage 16 from the mid 90s with a face lift. The Vantage 16 held 16 cones of thread and used an air compressor that would twist the two different cones of threads together and the pull it through the 1 needle to make the color change.

Hi Greg

The new Inbro single needle is all new technology. If you get a chance, have a look at one at a show or a local dealer. Stich quality and overall performance has been very impressive, the needle autothreading works first time every time.

Hello Dave, I am new to this forum and looking to buy an embroidery machine. I am wondering how your Inbro single needle machine is performing after a few months. Are you happy with the quality of the stitching. How does it compare to other machines you have used? Thanks Louisa-ann

Hi Payned,

I've work at a inbro both selling the Wilcom software for them and it has simular technology that the Melco advantage 16 had back in the 90s. I'll be at the ISS show an I will take a better look at it to see how simlar they maybe.

Hello! Dave P - at J & D Embroidery,

I see that you purchased the Inbro single needle RSC-1201 back in
April of 2007. What has been your experience with this machine in
the past ten months? I'm planning to attend the ISS Show in Long
Beach this next week and am very seriously looking into purchasing
a machine. And, this machine has caught my eye. However, over
the past year I've heard very little about it. I'd like to know all the
pros and cons. Would you recommend it, or go with another brand?

Thanks so much for your input.

Hello!

It's been several months since my last post conserning Inbro's new single needle 12 color machine. Todate, I've not heard back from anyone here as to the pros and cons of this particular machine. I am very interested in purchasing one as I'm impressed by the concept, but would love to hear what others who have experience with them might say, both the good and bad. Would you recommend it? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks so much'

Hi all, I am very interested in the single head/needle machines too. I have just watched the video of the Inbro model you are discussing and it looks brilliant.

If anyone wants to check out the vid here is the link;

http://www.embroiderysolutions.com.au/Inbro_Machines.html

My company is located on the Central Coast of NSW Australia and is an importer and distributor of general workwear and high visibility clothing and accessories. Currently we outsource all of our embroidery and we are looking for a new service provider so if anyone is interested in alot of ongoing trade work please contact me. We are also considering setting up our own in house embroidery machines.

I would really appreciate any feedback on whether you believe it is better to let an existing embroidery company do the work for us compared to the set-up costs and training required to do it ourselves.

Advice? Comments? Anyone want to discuss the possibility of supplying us with embroidery services? Our orders range from 10 units up to 5,000 per job.

Cheers

Jay

Hi Hotchilli,

Just wondering if I can find out more about your company. I live on south coast NSW. I have been wanting to buy an embroidery machine. (not quite sure what to buy, I have been quite interested in finding out more about Inbro). I will be looking for some work if I go ahead with the investment in a machine. Any advice with setting up would be appreciated. Thanks Maggie

Hi All,
I would appreciate any advice on buying a machine. Can anybody advise on the quality of the embroidery stitching on the Inbro as compared to other machines. Does the auto thread work well?
Thanks for you help.

Hi Maggie,

Thanks for the reply. What is your background with embroidery? My company is located on the NSW Central Coast with on site warehousing and another ware in Wetherill Park in Sydney. We supply a huge range of clothing B2B nation wide. Our clients include contractors, mining, medical, government departments and the like and if we do not get our own machines we will need someone as a long term supplier for all of our embroidery and screenprinting requirements.

Hi Hotchilli,

I am wishing to start up my own business on a small scale to begin with. Ongoing small jobs would be what I am after. You appear to want someone who is already in the business. If you find someone and they are willing to teach me a little so that I can be a small scale operation without being in competition, could you please let me know.
I know very little about embroidery or the machines. I have always enjoyed sewing and thought embroidery would be good way to get back into the workforce after raising my family. I can only afford to get involved if I know I will be able to get some ongoing work. I was originally thinking personalised children's wear.
Thanks
Maggie

Hi All,
Any suggestions as to whether I should give it a go, what machine to buy and how to get help starting up would be wonderful.
I very much appreciate any help.
Thanks Maggie

Hi Jay, I have just found this site today, and therefore read your email just now. If it is of any use to you, i have a monogram business in Tamworth. If that is in the area where you fill some of your orders, maybe i can help you with some of your outsourced embroidery. I would be keen to hear from you. Have a great weekend. Regards, megr
