Now that I have your attention…let me introduce myself. I am a Virgin poster…yep, that’s right…this is my first time.

My name is Torrey Mason, and my anticipation has been building with the thought of the pleasure of telling you about the Lowery Machine & Supply Auction in Greenville, SC.

Seeing as this is my first Forum posting, I wasn’t sure how I should start. C’mon…you remember your first time…you have to admit it was a little awkward. After much thought (and asking my more EXPERIENCED girlfriends)…I have decided to tell about one of the ways we at Lowery Machine have made it even easier for you to attend our 1st Quarterly Auction, which is being held on March 23rd (my fist auction as well).

Even though I am a Virgin Forum Poster, I understand that the idea of making travel arrangements can be stressful, and that is why we at Lowery have taken it upon ourselves to arrange discounted rates at two great Greenville hotels; the Hampton Inn & Suites downtown and the Drury Inn within the Shops at Greenridge (I wish someone had put this much thought into MY first time). Both establishments offer great amenities and service, and both are located in nice areas of town…you don’t have to worry about showing up at a hotel that doesn’t look anything like the picture, or worry about your car being broken into! (That also means clean sheets!) Plus, both hotels are just minutes from the Auction! (Sure wish my first time was in a nice hotel room)

All you need to do is decide is if you want to stay in beautiful downtown Greenville, or be within the Shops at Greenridge! Book your room under our pre-negotiated rate (be sure to tell them you are here for the Lowery Auction); secure your reservation with your credit card and voila…you’re all set! (no fumbling in your pockets for cash and embarrassing yourself in front of your date).

I understand that there are a lot of details when planning a trip, no matter the distance, and handling “the details” is one of my functions here at Lowery. Aside from my primary function as Purchasing Agent for the OEM and Refurbished Machine departments, (we girls DO know how to get what we want when we want it), I will also be one of the faces you will see at the Auction, making sure that everyone is registered, documented and ready to bid as quickly as possible (the more information the better).

Be aware, we do anticipate a good crowd, (as most girls do), so I would suggest you pre-register on our website so you don’t have to wait in line when you arrive at the Auction! (not to mention you get a $1,000 credit towards any crating…that’s a no brainer)!
