A few days before, I visited an SWF Agent in Lahore, Pakistan. I already own 2 Barudan BEVS series 20 Head, Double Sequin Embroidery machines. Now, I am planning to double my production capacity. As Barudan was completely out of my budget and having heard good words about SWF quality, I decided to go for 2 SWF machines for my next purchase.
Price for DM & SB series was very high (nearly as expensive as Barudan); so he gave me another option and that was G series. He told me that this machine is 40% Korean and 60% Chinese; this is to say that 40% parts are of Korean origin and then they are exported to China for making the complete machine utilising the balance 60% Chinese parts !!
However, when I visited the web site www.sunstar.co.kr; there was NO sign of any G series machines over there !! Can anybody please explain that whether this G series is obsolete or currently in production and if it is really in production then why it is not being shown in their web site ??
Also, kindly explain in detail the meaning of this 40% Korean and 60% Chinese combination of parts ?? Is this really like this and what is the quality difference if we buy DM series (100% Korean) and G series ??
Somebody told me that this G series (as there is no G on official web site of SunStar) is only being marketed in a few countries where Chinese machines have stormed in and SWF, in order to increase its sale, has just branded a Chinese machine with its Logo !!!!!! Not sure that whether this is true or not !!
