I am in the process of starting a small home based embroidery business primarily stitching baby and children's items. I have been searching for a supplier of very good quality white pre-fold diapers that I can embroider for burp
cloths. I would prefer not to use the gauze type diapers
that are everywhere as they do not launder well. I like
the twill type weave. Gerber no longer makes a good quality
diaper. I've also tried ordering from www.embroiderthis.com but their diapers are not what I'm searching for either. I have run Google and Yahoo searches but the only thing I can come up with is Chinese prefolds and Indian prefolds--neither of which I am interested in. I know the diaper I'm looking for exists because I have seen it in a shop that sells
personalized burp cloths. Any advice would be appreciated.

Do a google search for "flannel diapers" -- they are the soft ones (I used them on my kids in the... well I won't go into just when
If you still can't find those.... get the cheaper lap blankets, ... very lightweight and the same size and shape as diapers -- usually they are flannel.
Not sure what you meant by pre-fold. |

I just did some burp cloths using Gerber diapers. I was very satisfied with the quality and they wash like a dream. They are not at all gauzy, in fact they do have a twill type pattern in the fabric. I was only making a few, so picked them up at Wal-Mart.
