Hi debragander,

Is High Block a TTF that you are using? I can't find High Block as any type of font. I look at Myfont.com and still was not able to identify the font. Yes, I can think of a few ways of doing this even if it's not a TTF. What Version and what Level of ES do you have? Can you show me what this font is?

Hi Greg,

It's a misunderstanding, I meant the size I need the font to be is 13mm high, and it's a block 2 i'm using. I have ES 45, version 8. Hope you can help.

Regards
Debbie

For the size of lettering you are asking for, the quick and easy way is have 2 set of your font and off set them. This can be done with 21L any version. For the shadow; Type your block lettering with less stitches spacing than usual and make any adjustment (spacing etc...) While selected Hit Ctrl C (copy) and Ctrl V (Past) or Ctrl D (Duplicate) this will make your top lettering make sure you have edge run underlay on for the top lettering, This will help make the letters not look blurry from bottom thread bleeding through. While the top lettering is selected select a different color thread and move it with your mouse or arrow keys. Make sure you do a test run to see how it looks. If you are having tread bleed up then you can use your reshape tool and adjust the stitch angel. This should take you less than a minute. Let me know if this will work for you. The other ways will take a lot more time and explaining.

I can suggest a good way... but not a quick way.....

1) turn stitches off...create a copy of your text to represent your shaddow and position it. make each one a seperate colour.

2) select both objects and use the flatten icon.

3) select all, generate stitches.
4) select by colour ....(only the shaddow).... copy......
5) undo undo
6) select and delete the shaddow object.
7) paste
8) select each segment of the shaddow object in turn and hit the fusion fill icon (or special stitch angles....the same thing)
and then indicate the correct stitch angles to match the top object....

9) then stitch the top object and make sure it is on top....

10 then all you have to do is move the top object diagonally slightly to create some overlap this will ensure that you do not have to manually do this for each object....

Enjoy
