How good is this book? I have taken 4 classes on digitizing useing Ethos. I am good at basic stuff, but want to learn how to do more advanced stuff like shadowing and shading. Is this covered in the book? The book is quite expensive so I want to make sure it is worth it before purchasing.

This is an excellent book, however, it is basic theory and not advanced. I suggest you go to Tom Moore's website: strawberrystitch.com and look into his online training. He has training for all levels there.
