Can anyone tell me if you can scan a picture or a business card logo and turn it into an embroidery design. I have deco studio e1.  Or do I need another program to do that with.

Without seeing what kind of art you have this is all I can tell you.

In the Drawing Mode (CorelDraw) you have to use the Trace Bitmap feature to create a vector art. After you create the vector art you will probably have to edit the vector art to make it embroidery friendly and I would replace and letter that was traced and tag it as turning satin letters TTF (S w/lines icon) or Wilcom lettering (W icon). Some object(s) you may want to hand digitize in the Embroidery Mode with the fusion fill tool.
