Would someone have any tips as to how to digitize for cap backs especially around the opening. I am having trouble determining the correct arc and letter size. Thank you.

Scan your cap's backside and import it into the the software. You also can import a drawing of the hoop used (12 cm diameter???) additionally. This way you will have an idea of the arc as well as of the area which can be stitched on. HTH
