Hi! I'm new to this forum and appreciate any information and ideas you can give me!

Our company has been in business for 10 years now, and we are reaching that point in growth where we need to take another look at our system.

One major issue we have is our pricing is not consistant. Do any of you have a pricing "formula" that you use? I'm very interested in seeing how people price their embroidered and screen printed garments. I KNOW there is a better way to do it than what we are doing so any examples are appreciated!

I am very eager to get a new system nailed down and implemented.

Thanks in Advance!!

Liz

How are you pricing now?  We are doing a flat $10 for embroidery, and $4 to add a motif.  Our options are pretty simple:

Well worth a read. Download the provided zip file.
It contains an excel spreadsheet to help you work out your costs and set pricing.

I would also appreciate this as I am just starting and find it difficult to know how to quote for sewing embroidery on different articles.  There seems to be so many ways of pricing per stitch count.

Is there some way you can just charge per sq in ?

Hello all im new to your forums, and hope to become a regular!! Steve, thanks for the post and links, it will be my bedtime read tongiht. I am currently purchasing the buisness i work for. I have been heavily involved in the business for 20+ years. I do have a question as to pricing. How are people accomodating for the interest rates we are charged for accepting visa mastercard? Are you including it in prcing? Are you adding a % to an invoice if someone pays by credit card? Can i comfortably add a handling fee per order to help allieviate this charge?

Due to the current 250% price of quints over the other three rune types, this revamp would reduce IP costs by a modest overall margin.
