Hello
If there are any Coreldraw gurus out there? perhaps you can download the Corel V9 file and let me know where the possibilities may extend with outline effects. I was just messing with a few effects but fulltime Corel users might perhaps be more adept at providing some feedback . Superb effects can be done in X3/X4 ..I just made a V9 file in case some are still on lower versions.
I'd be very interested to hear if you do DTG stuff or just like creating funky graphics. Embroidery collections are also huge ,and playing with the stitch vectors offers a new dimension to design really..
bye

Hello, I need to convert a .jpg file to a .pes file. I do not havean embroidery machine myself, but I am doing a few designs for an elderly friend. I really need to know how I can do this without purchasing software. I use CorelDraw for the design and then export it as a .jpg. I need to convert it to a .pes file for a Brother machine.
Please, can someone help me. People in Cape Town are totally clueless! Thankyou |

hello,
a jpg is an image file.
pes, is a machine file.
You can't really just convert image files into embroidery unless its something simple, so depends on the design.
To do it without software, requires the services of a digitizer, or an embroidery co. There are more than a few in Cape Town if you check the Yellow pages |

| Hello Nevi
Thanks, I am aware that a .jpg is an image file and that a .pes file is an embroidery format file. I just needed to know if there is a program that can convert it, for free. I believe there are several, but I am not willing to spend alot of money on it unless I can sell my designs. I used a digitiser for many years, but it is a long route. Prefer to just convert with software. Thanks anyway, I will find a way. |
