I have a design that uses the college applique font.  I've broken the text apart because I wanted the outline for all the text to stitch first so I could then layout my twill letters.  I want to set the outline portion of the text to not trim between the letters to speed things up but DS will not let me set this option for this part of the design.  I can seem to set it for any other element of the design if I want to but for these outlines it will not let me.  Is there some reason for this or a setting somewhere that I might be missing?

Thanks, Joe.

Hi
Depending on how the outline was created, it may still be a ' group' after you have broken the text apart.

If you select a letter, do you perhaps see it grouped? If so, try ungrouping , then select the outlines, and try setting the connector properties ' after object' , and switch the trims off. If you absolutely cannot get it not to trim in the emb file, you could save it as a *dst and edit that machine file. Just a suggestion.

If the outline is an inputC, you should have no probs though.

If you can send a couple of letters with the text broken apart as an ES2006 EMB file, I can take a look..no problemo. Its difficult to tell what may be preventing you from setting that without seeing something, because there are a few conditions in which connectors may not apply instantly.
