I am creating applique patterns in Corel and applying stitches in Deco Studio......  The one thing that I just cannot figure out is how to avoid overlapping stitches on the applique.  Example:

Snowman head.. then scarf.. then snowman body.....  Deco studio applies stitches around each part but the scarf overlaps the head and the body.. There are stitched underneath stitches...  Any idea how to avoid that or remove those stitches?  I have been working for months to create the designs and now no idea how to fix the stitch problem?

I have had success by making sure that I convert all of the applique parts at the same time. If I do them seperately I get the stitching all the way around the parts like you are describing. When all of the parts are selected for conversion it does a tack down type stitch on the parts that are underneath other parts and the satin stitch covers only the exposed parts.

I hope that this helps.

That sounds like what I NEED but I am a bit confused as to what you mean by converting all the applique parts at the same time........ Do you mean from the graphics to embroidery? I will do that tomorrow but wanted to make sure that was what you were talking about.....

Thank you....

I don't know if DecoStudio has the Feature of Partial Appliqué. You may have to edit or hand digitize the bottom Appliqué. DecoStudio Version e|1.0 did not have that feature but I just check to see if my Distributor version of DecoStudio e|1.5 and it did have the Feature of Partial Appliqué if you do it from the graphic mood (only)
