Has anyone tried to do any 3d (or puff) designs using DS? I sat down to try a hat design and quickly ran into a problem trying to get the satin stitches long enough to cover the puff part. I'm trying to do a very basic letter "C" which will end up being a bit wider than .25 inch when finshed but DS insists on splitting the satin column. Any ideas?

Try turning off the USE AUTO SPLIT, uncheck the auto spacing, Change desity, I use .20 this es gives dense coverage, play with it until you getthe coverage you want.
Also if you are using block letters don't forget to close the ends of the letters, if you do not foam will show out the ends.
