Deco convert problems: When I change the default machine from Tajima to Toyota, the art work im using will not convert? Any sugestions? Is there a PDF workbook, instructions, etc? Thank you Mary Lou

That's odd. Is it just one particular bit of artwork not converting? Does the artwork convert if you change back to Tajima? Maybe you can try converting in Tajima machine, then changing machine afterwards using Machine->Select Machine Format... menu item. As for PDF user manual, yes, there's one on DVD. Its in a folder "\User Manual\English" on the DVD.

Sad to say, I found a lot of holes with Deco that I could not ignore! - the conversion to ART was one, not being able to "cut" one portion of a design out to change it's format was another - and a few other things... So, I've sent the program back. I've been digitizing for several years and this software was not better than what I already have. Maybe the es would be but not the deco... The manual I finally found the day I sent it back.. sorry.. but this program is to expensive for me to use a a second.. I need something that is better than I already have.. Mary Lou

Deco have some bugs, not only the art format has problems but the Pes format as well. Contact Wilcom and tell them about the problems tell them also about the pes file. get some other people involve to contact wilcon, we need to be strong in numbers if not they will ignore us. they been passing the buck in reference to the Pes format, saying that they are aware of the bug and are working towards the problem. Yeh right. call them and express your concerns.

Hello, what problems did you experience with art-format? I had not trouble opening art1 - art4 and was able to edit everything, also a customer of mine is happy and did not report anything in terms of opening and editing art-files although most of her earlier digitized designs are in art-format.
