| I just purchased a Brother SE-270D and the PED-BASIC software. I downloaded the software without issues however it says I can use clipart, etc to download. How do I save a pdf to a pes???!!! Please help, I'm frustrated with it. |

Hi Lorri,
PDF is a graphical file format not embroidery data. Therefore unless you use an auto digitizing software I don't think you can turn the PDF into PES.
Perhaps what you have are PDF (graphical file) samples of the embroidery design. Can you contact the supplier and ask them for the PES format file? |

Just use the photoshop to make a conversion from PDF to the formats you'd like (JPEG,BMP).
And then, digitize it to get your embroidery file.
We are professional in this.

PED Basic will only send .PES files to your machine. Brother's digitizing software is PE Design (current version 7). You can, however, print a graphic file in any number of formats to your printer (laser or ink jet) and, using special transfer paper, transfer the graphic design by ironing it to your garment. All graphics that you wish to embroider will need to be digitized first. .PES is the only file format that PED Basic can read, so if you have a graphic digitized by someone else for you, specify the .PES file format. You can check with Brother to see which version of .PES (there are currently six) your machine can read. Most newer machines can read all versions.
