27 Sep 2008 9:36 AM Alert

I am having trouble with my Designer Plus...I converted one of my designs (my very own, not someone else's) to SHV for a Viking a few days ago.  The very next day, converting only gave me corrupted files with long diagonal lines in them.

Any ideas what might be happening?  Am I screwing this up?  Is there a known problem?  A patch?

Any help is so appreciated!

Ann

How are you converting it? Are you just doing file>save as> and selecting the SHV file extension? or are you trying to open it and change the file extension? If you right click on your start menu>go to explore and find your design and try to change the file extension like that, it will corrupt your design. You need to be in your embroidery software and do file>save as> select the file type and then save it. If that file type isn't available, then you cannot convert your designs to that.

Thanks for that valuable information. I will just settle my meal on the train, like you say, it is an experience itself. And thanks again for bringing up so many meal choices.
