I am enjoying my Janome mc200e, but am frustrated by the lack of information on the machine's memory and use of usb stick. I was reliably informed ( thank you Anette  to use no more than a 256mb stick. done and happily copied lots of designs, BUT through much trial and error discovered that my machine will only read the first 100 designs, i.e.25X4 pages. am I wrong? Have I made a schoolgirl error? Help!

In response to carolek's dilema.  I have the same Janome machine and what I do is decide what design I am going to sew and then I copy designs from my 1gb usb stick to the 256mb stick just a few at a time so the machine can read them.  The memory in the machine is very small.  Most of the time it can only read about 24 designs at a time.  Although it depends on the size of each design.  Larger ones can only be read about 6 at a time.  I hope this helps.

Hi from Down Under, I have a Janome 11000 and had the same trouble so I got a 128mb stick and do the same thing. I download only what I need from my 2gb stick and it works really well.
I only realised this after trial and error.

Have you considered putting the designs in separate folders on the USB stick? Instead of putting all the designs in one folder, separate them into different folders. You may have to keep the folder names less than 8 characters.
