I already have Embird manager and just realized it can read wilcom .emb files, I was considering purchasing Wilcom Design workflow to be used mainly for the search feature so.....I reasoned not to invest when I should be able to do this with Embird. Only problem is it won't work with emb V6 files, it only shows the icon not the file info - I'm assuming v6 means V2006, anyone know why this is so?

V6 is Version 6 and is not the same as V2006. Version 2006 is really V10. Also if another program exported as an EMB file it may not have all the info.
