| Hello everybody,
I've been doing embroidery since 1993 and I never have had anybody answer me what you use spider hoops for. Are they something that you think I should invest in? If it makes any difference, I have a Melco EMT-10T and a Melco EMT-10/4T.
Thanks in advance for any help I can get.
Butch

| Spider hoops, as I know them on ZSK flat machines, are round hoops that fit into a template, either two to three deep from front to back, and used to do flat panel work. This is how the caps coming from Asia are done. In the early 90's I sold 12 20 head ZSK's to a Fr. Worth based cap company that sewed the front panel and then built the cap. I would be surprised if Melco had such a product for your EMT's. |

| Thanks, by the sounds of them, I don't think that I need them.
Thanks again,

basically they are just a different setup for your embroidery machine
some like to use the lighter weight hoop that fits into a spider frame with a table top arrangement on the embroidery machine
I feel that its limmited in its use and like the heavier tubular frames with a drop talble
but really there are fors and against for both arrangements

| They came with Melco machines. small, thin metal hoops used on wallets, cuffs, colars and hard to reach areas |
