I run toyota 9100 machines. I got a request to run military name tapes for a unit getting ready to deploy. A couple questions please. First: Could anyone recomend a place to source blank military tapes. Either cotton or nylon will work. Second: I work with Fort'e software. Toyota does sell a aftermarket item called the patchmaster, it looks similar to 7 in one fast frames. However I'm not so sure that it fits the military name tape application that I'm looking for. My question is: anyone know of hoops/frames and software that works for military name tape applications? Thanks.

Fast Frames carries a name tape hoop. It mounts as your tubular hoops do to the machine. I do all our name tapes for the local fire brigade with it. I checked their website, the image does not show, at least on my PC. If you have problems you can view a photo on my website http://www.texdesign.de/fastframes.html Ît is the second one counted from the top. I am pretty sure you will find a dealer near you. In terms of software: I guess all software with lettering capability will work but a team name function like DecoStudio + power pack or EmbroideryStudio 1.5 (Wilcom) carries is a great tool.

Barbara, Thank you for the reply. I'm going to take a look at the fast frames web site. If you are right then I will be able to use my software suite to create the names. I will get back to you and let you know what I come up with. Thanks again. Bobby R.
