I'm trying to take a letter that is 3.83"W x 2.38"H and scale it down to about 3/4".  The letter file that I'm opening is .PES and I'm saving as .SEW.  How do I scale it down properly so that it stitches out correctly?  It looks horrible just reducing the size, so I'm wondering if there is something else I need to be doing.

Thanks!

normally it is only wise to reduce size by 10-15%. If it still looks bad with just this reduction then it is probably the design itself, if you are sure you have it stabilized right and the right needle.
