Hi,  I have a slightly different question.

Got it downloaded, my puter already runs at 1024 X 768, so no problem. After I press the close button a little box pops up.

SYSTEM ERROR
ExceptionCode : e06d7363
ExceptionFlags : 1
ExceptionAddress : 77E6D756
NumberParameters : 3
Startup Address : 004011B0
Offset of Exception : 77A6C5A6

And an "OK" button at the bottom.

So... What's wrong with my machine this time?

Do I need to download more Windows updates or...?

Thanks.

Hi redfoxridge,

Typically this error is caused by your video card settings or driver.

You can try a couple of things:

A: Uninstall and reinstall TrueSizer 2006.

B: Update your video card driver:

1. Click Start-->Settings-->Control Panel.
2. Double-click the 'System' icon.
3. Select the Hardware tab.
4. Click the Device Manager button.
5. Open the Display Adapters node.
6. Note down the Display Adapter that is listed.
7. Right-click the Display Adapter device and select Properties.
8. Select the 'Driver' tab and note the Date of the driver.
9. Click the 'Driver Details' button.
10. Note down the 'Provider' and 'File Version' listed on this screen.
11. Click OK, then Cancel, and close the Device Manager and Control
Panel windows.
12. Visit the vendors ('Providers') website and download the latest driver version.

C: Reduce the Windows graphics acceleration:

To reduce the graphics acceleration, please do the following:

1. Right-click Desktop and select Properties.
2. Select Settings tab.
3. Click Advanced
4. Select Troubleshooting tab.
5. Drop hardware acceleration one notch at a time until you see an improvement.

Regards,
Brenden

Well, anyone can save any design as EMB, but I believe you're asking for something a bit more than just that.

I assume you mean "Is there any way of making dst or exp into emb files which adjust stitch counts on resizing?"

In which case, the answer is yes, but you'll need ES. In ES, when you open a dst or exp, you have an option to "recognize objects/outlines". The program then attempts to turn the stitches into resizable objects.

planet_embroidery wrote an enlightening post on EMBs in the Wilcom ES forum, he'll tell you all about EMB.

I can open true sizer and open a priviously edited design, but I can not open a new design as I have in the past. The screen for 'where to find' freezes and will not let me go to the design. My husband did add memory to my machine since I last used True Sizer and things are different. I thought I would uninstall True Sizer and install the 2006 version, but when I went to the uninstall menu, I could not find anything that listed 'Wilcom" or 'True Sizer. So any suggestions as to how to fix either problem would be appreciated'

Does anyone have an old copy of wilcom Truesizer 2006 they would be willing to send me?  We lost our Bernina Dongle, and cannot replace it for less than $1000!    alternately - does anyone have an old Bernina v4 Editor light they would be willing to sell?  Thank you!

 Hi Got your answer!

I would say you have windows?  If So.. Either from your desktop or your startup menu. From the start menu left click on computer --  From the desktop doulbe left click the computer icon at the top left.

Double left click on the program file to view the programs. Find Truesizer or Wilcom.  Then double left click on that file to open it so you can see if there is an uninstall, if so double click an it will remove itself.

If when you open the Trueview or Wilcom there is no uninstall. go up to the top of the file page, click once on the back arrow to go back one page so you can see Truesizer or Wilcom and right click on it once. From the pull down menu double left click on delete and follow instructions. Prlese remember the file has only been move to the Recyle bin and it must be removed fro there to completely remove it so you can have a clean install of the new program.      Good Luck
