I'm having troubles getting Truesizer 9 to open.  I downloaded and installed, but when I double click (or even right click and choose "Run as Administrator), I get an error message that says, "embview.exe has stopped working".  I'm running Vista.  Any suggestions??

Welcome to the club, I have never been able to run Truesizer (any version) on Vista.

Well, now it's even worse: I could not uninstall it entirely, so tried to reinstall, still get the same message, and now I get continual message asking me if I want to reboot my computer. This is awful. Looks like I'll have to do a system restore. What a shame.

Try turning of UAC User Account Controls in Vista Control Panel.

My User Account Controls are off, and have been off since I installed Vista, as that are a royal PITA. I now have bits and pieces of Truesizer installed, nothing works, and I can't uninstall it entirely, either with the uninstall program, or through Control Panel. Anyone out there have any other suggestions short of a system restore?? This is pretty awful.

Patty,

version 9 of ES was not designed for Vista and there is no driver guaranteed working for ES V9. Therefore I am pretty sure, same applies to TrueSizer V9.

Any suggestions on how to get this uninstalled, then?  I now have fragements of this program still installed, including the command file that asks if I want to restart the computer after install everytime I restart my computer.
