Why do I keep getting the message saying that this is a read only file when I try to save a resized design Thank you for any advice

Hi, Stitch files like .DST, .DSB or .T01 for example cannot be resized and have their stitches processed. Therefore TrueSizer warns you about this. If your design is in .EMB object format (which if should be!) then you can freely resize and the software will re-process your stitches.

Sorry , but I still don't understand. I have a multi format CD. I am trying to resize a design in Pes format to save In Pes format Elaine

Brenden may be referring to a different message. Elaine, you can get a "read only" message when you try to save to a location which you can't save to (e.g. a CD-ROM). You can open your PES design from the CD, but when you save it, select a folder on your hard drive (e.g. "My Documents").
