I noticed that the TrueSizer font files located in the "C:\Program Files\Wilcom\TS2006\WLETTER" directory are very similiar to the Bernina font files located in "C:\Program Files\BERNINA\Embroidery Software\WLETTER". Is it possible to convert the ESA font files to ESB font files, copy them to the Bermina folder, and then have access to additional fonts in the Bernina software? I tested copying a .ESA font file into the Bernina folder but EditorPlus did not recognize it and add it to its list of available fonts. Thanks!

Hi Margaret. From what I know Wilcom ESA files are different to ESB files so you wont be able to copy them from one program to another. I tried this in the past where an employee of mine had some nice fonts in Bernina I wanted, but they would not work in the ES. I imagine the same is for ES to Bernina.
you can always try

Does Wilcom also develop the Bernina embroidery application?
I know they have done this (Re-badging ES) for some machine companies in the past.....?
Anyway beside the point I guess....
The answer would be (practially) no in either case....
The fonts files for different applications are obviously different and not compatible with other applications.....
Anything is possible (of course) and it is theoretically possible for someone to write a program to convert different types of fonts ETC...
But to do this technical knowlegde would be required that is not freely available to the public.
This type of technical info would no doubt be kept secret by both companies ETC as this type of info (how file formats work eTc) would be a protected asset of the owning company of each file type ETC...
But fortunately Wilcom does offer an option to create fonts... so if you really like something this is a more realisitic way of creating it.
