This is new to me. I am trying to take a 2 inch letter down to about 1.5 inches in dst format. When I try to open this up in my digizing software, there is nothing there. What am I doing wrong?

Hi! A possibility is that you have your stitches turned off? Try pressing the S key on your keyboard. Also look in the bottom left corner of the application and see if there is a stitch count. If it is stitches turned off, there is a possibility this has become your default view. To change this close all open designs, and start a new design. Turn your stitches on using the S key and ensure that the Stitches icon on the toolbar is turned on. Close the application by using the Application close X button in the top right. This will become your new default view. Hope it helps!

i have different designs downloaded to my lap top with vista programing. i have installed wilcom true sizer and the ped Basic. for some reason when i go to open the desing it tells me "windows can not open thisfiel" when i ask it to select a program from al list of installed programs it doesnt give me the option to open with ped basic or wilcom tru sizer. what to do? yelena

Hi Yelena, Are you trying to open the design in Windows Explorer? If so, you will probably need to set up your file associations for file types you want to open from Explorer. See this other thread: http://www.embroiderystartup.com/Forums/tabid/72/view/topic/forumid/12/postid/1263/Default.aspx Alternatively, you can just run TrueSizer first, and inside TrueSizer, use File->Open to open any supported file.
