When I go to save a Jpeg file under the "Capture design bitmap" function,  I will sometimes get an "Error saving design - directory or file cannot be created", at a later date that same file may save.  What causes this error message and can it be fixed?  Thanks for any assistance!

hi

A possible problem could be that your system either has low RAM (memory) and may fail to carry out that function at specific low times , but might work with no problems once you have possibly restarted your computer, and the RAM is refreshed. A good indicator of this prob, is if you find it necessary to restart 2-3 times a day , and when you find the system drag becomes evident after a few hours.

Because most generally have 4-5 programs open , you might find such problems occur. Generally these are not software problems , but limitations in the actual hardware.

Programs like wilcom, and Coreldraw are vector based ,and therefore memory intensive , so having a really good processor/graphics card/RAM and generally a good 'gaming style' computer system is a good help.

Thanks, Nevi!  You're probably right, I run an old machine, guess I'll have to look into upgrading the RAM.  Thanks for the help!
