Hi everyone.
I have heard there are some virus protection programs that are better than others - ie. less intrusive and don't interfer with Wilcom and regular computer operation. Does anyone have any suggestions? Currently, I am using Norton. While I do not have any specific problems now, I would be interested in hearing any comments and suggestions.

Thank you!

Hi Rich!

We use McAfee (VirusScan Enterprise 8.0 to be exact). I think it is great. It is non-intrusive, reliable, and does not draw heavily on system resources.

I've been reading good things about

Kaspersky® Anti-Virus 6.0

http://www.kaspersky.com/homeuser

I've yet to try it with ES.

We use NOD32, it is not free but is very good.

Like anything, it is personal preference as to what one you choose.

I have used Norton/Symantec and McAfee in the past and find NOD32 is IMO superior, uses very few system resources. Haven't used AVG or PCillian etc.

We used norton but found severe performance issues, we changed to AVG corporate and Wilcom 2006ES starts up faster.
