Hi Greg, are there any videos on making yor own splits and flexi splits please, mine seem a bit hit an miss. What exactly are flexi splits, I know how they work and use them frequently but what exactly makes them different from an ordinary split - or aren't they, is it just the way we can use them that makes them different?? Thanks.

Flexi Splits are different to normal (Program) Splits, in that the Flexi Splits follow the stitch angles of the object. So they generally look nicer in turning columns or borders. Normal Program Splits create a pattern on a fixed angle, but gives you direct control over the pattern layout (generally used for big fill objects). e.g. The following picture shows the exact same pattern (Chevron), highlighting the difference:

Thank you, that makes sense now you have told me but I doubt I would have worked it out without it being explained first.
