| Could someone explain how to put outlines around text. Would it be different for designs?
Thanks, Steve. |

Hello, Adding outlines to text will vary with designs/fabrics. It also depends on the size of the letters, and the type of outline stitch..usually satin or runs.
Unfortunately, no real way to answer that q, as the aspects are too vast. |

| When im outlining i either use offset object or I manually Input C or run stitch around object/text. Offset works for most objects but sometimes you dont want to outline entire ooject in which case i manually outline it |

In ES-65 there is a button called outline run. Click on it and click the edge of the object you want to outline. Sometimes you may have to do this a couple of times for it to take. It's just funny that way.It will also be the same color as the object you are clicking on. This makes it sometimes hard to see. After the outline run has been created around the object. Right click on the outline run and scroll down to Convert and then choose input C. It's usually the first icon. Hope this helps.... |
