Try this: - go to "C:\Program Files\Wilcom\ES2006\bin" - run the ES.exe from there
What error message do you get?

Try this: - Click Start->Run... - Enter "C:\Program Files\Wilcom\ES2006\bin\ES.EXE" (assuming you installed it there) and click OK - Wait for a couple of minutes! (it will look like nothing is happening, no splash screen or progress or anything so just wait a bit)
After a couple of minutes, either ES will start, or else ES will give an error message and an error number, which may be useful in trying to figure out what's going on.

The shortcut actually runs DESLOADR.EXE with a bunch of command line parameters.
Just to clarify, I'm suggesting to run ES.EXE (with NO command line parameters), not the DESLOADR.EXE that the shortcut runs.
Running ES.EXE will NOT display the splash screen, but should give you a message I'm pretty sure (I remember the old versions of ES, sometimes the splash screen used to clobber the message).

| I started getting the DESLOADR.EXE Error about a week ago. Switched the shortcut switch up this morning so we shall see what that does. |
