Bock 2 ist digitized for lettering over 6 mm hight, smBlock 2 ist digitized for lettering less than 6 mm and Auto-Block 2 ist a combination of both.
To find out about it just digitize "a" and duplicate this object twice. Asign above 3 fonts to each one letter(ing object) at standard hight of 10 mm. Make sure that "use saved version" is checked every time. You will see a difference between Block 2 and sm Block 2, Auto will look as Block 2. Now reduce the hight of the Auto-Block 2 proportionally on screen and look what happens!
To manage such changes you can do your own Auto-Fonts by just reshaping a letter of an embroidery font and save this as user-refined letter. When done so, the letter will change acccordingly depending on the height.
For more information search in the onscreen-manual for user defined lettering.
