Hi all,

Here is quick tip will like which lets you create PDF Worksheets you can email to your customers.

Visit http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp and download the free CutePDF Writer.

Download and install both files that appear on the left side.

Free Download
(Ver. 2.62; 1.54 MB)

Free Converter
(GPLGS8.15; 5.01 MB)

Once installed, simple PRINT your document as normal (such as your production worksheet) however from the printer drop-down select CutePDF as the printer. You will be prompted to save the PDF. Then attach this to your email and off you go!

Works like magic and is 100% free!

Thats good stuff...
I think it would be great if you included an extra page in your free stuff menu from which you could post links to good free ware resources:

Another good one for people looking for a good free antivirus program is:

I use this now and I like it... it updates automatically every day and works just fine...

A similar product (without converter) is just as easy to use called PDF Creator. It can be downloaded free at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator/
When installed, you will have a printer named PDFCreator that you can use from any Windows program to create .pdf files.
When you print, PDF Creator takes over in a popup window. It includes an EMAIL button that will automatically open your email program with the .pdf file already attached (no hunting for where you saved it!). Simply fill in the e-mail address, modify the subject line and message body and click SEND.

Help!! When I try this, I can't specify .pdf file. The only options are .prn files or all files. Either way it is saved as a .prn file. I'm I missing somethimg?

Hi Gary,

You should be able to visit http://www.cutepdf.com/Products/CutePDF/writer.asp and download both the plug ins:

After restarting your PC you should see the CutePDF option in your Print dialog box such as the image below.

Hi all,

I'm new to the Embroidery Startup website. Glad to be here!

I have another idea about printing production worksheets.... If you have Office 2003, it adds a printer to your computer called Microsoft Office Document Image Writer. At first I thought it was just for scanning, but you can actually print to it just like a regular printer and the Acrobat printer.

I like it because I can make notes and hightlight items for the customer right on the document after it has printed. It has a text, pen, and highlighter tool. You can even add a picture to the document. Sometimes I add their original image to the document. Pretty cool.

It saves it as a .MDI file which I believe can only be read by the image writer software; however it can then be saved as a .TIF file that I believe can be read as a graphic. Give it a try.

Hope this helps!

Thanks Brenden,

I might add, do not check the "print to file" box.
