Not sure this is the right place for this. My question is, How hard is it to set up direct networking between Es 7.1 and a tajima tmfx-c904. We recently purchaced a used one and would like to use a direct connection instead of the floppys. Any help would be welcome.

I'm new to this list. I've had over 20 yrs in the decorated apparel industry. I've used Melcos AMAYAs and older machines in other places I've worked and liked the convenience of the networking they used. I also have many years screen printing as well and hope to one day combine the two but thats a little further ahead. Right now it's just getting used to the sowtware and machine.

Thanks to all who answer.

Mark

Hi Mark,

You certainly can connect directly from ES 7.1 to Tajima TMFX-C904. You will need a serial cable to do this with the connection specifications outlined in the following pdf:

Cheers,
Lisa

Thanks Now, any Idea about where to get a cable? Also, is there a machine setting (network on or off) that I need to know about?

Hi Lisa.

Can you please help to find the pin layout for tajima parallel cable?.

I have a TMEF-612S, it has a centronics connector under the panel.

Thanks!.

Numa.

Hi all,

You can find most machine cable pinouts in Wilcom support site:

http://www.wilcom.com.au/SUPPORT/EmbroideryMachineConnection.aspx

You do need to login to view the article. It is worth registering. It's free and has lots of good info.

If you want to stop using your floppy, we sell a USB Flash Reader that connects directly to your hardware. It's the cheapest you'll find on the market. We also buy and sell embroidery machines!
