can anyone shed some light on this?

We have an old 6 head barudan machine with an old floppy disc reader, i have an old Sony laptop running windows 98 which i use for digitising on to old 2DD floppy discs, if i try and save the designs onto newer 2HD floppys the Barudan disc reader doesnt recognise it???

Also ive tried Wilcom on my desk top which is running windows XP, works fine so far, i bought a USB floppy drive from PC World which ive found doesnt read the older 2DD floppy discs, which i need to use for the barudan disc reader.

Can anyone help? is it a problem with windows xp or should i try and source a newer floppy disc reader for the emb machine?

I hate it when older technology clashes with the newer stuff.....so frustrating.

you can use 2HD floppy . floppy have 2 hole one for lock & one other now you close other hole
by any adhesive tap than use this floppy
