17 Oct 2008 4:50 AM Alert

I have an older 7.1D wilcom ES  program. I was given serial numbers and it changed the identity code like it said it would from wilcom.

Sometimes when the program is idle, I am sent an error message and it give me a software error: and disables the program. The program has to recover the open files, when I start it again and all the codes go back to original.

Is there something wrong with my dongle? this is legit from Wilcom purchased in 2001.

Just wondering if this is a flaw.

We have weird issues where if we print, and then try to open up a new file, the program will crash and then we have to reopen it again. It's sort of strange, and rather annoying so, we've just gotten into the habit of saving everything before we print because otherwise we'd lose everything we were working on.

Ive also had a recent problem. Same sort of thing happening. Either the program does not open if I am on the internet or it will crash if I dont use it for a while. Usually solved by rebooting the computer and starting again. Last week it just wouldnt open. I reinstalled, repaired, tried everything and nothing would make the program come on. Always saying its a security problem. I then put the dongle in my laptop and started the program with no problems. Next day I put the dongle back in my main computer and Wilcom started without problem. It almost as though the laptop gave the dongle a nudge to get it going again. Since then , no problems.
Very strange...
