Hi,

A client of ours is having a problem, recently her monitor (old CRT) broke down, and we sold her a new 19" TFT.

Now her problem is when she uses Wilcom ES designer the grid isn't correct anymore. The software says the grid squares are 10 by 10, but they are 10 by 13 on the screen, however when she prints everything is fine. When we adjust the height to make it look good on the screen ofcourse everything prints wrong.

Both the monitor and the windows settings are 1280x1024

This is however very annoying cause she has to "draw eggs" to get a circle. Anyone else ever had this problem ? we already tried several monitors (TFT) all gave the same result

some tech info:

Wilcom ES designer 45 version 7.1E 14mar 2002

monitor F-419 Neovo

video card Radeon X700 pro

OS: Win XP pro sp2

Kind regards

It's probably just that the new monitor probably has a different aspect ratio to her old one. All she needs to do is adjust the screen calibration in ES (From the ES menu, Special->Hardware Setup...)

If you look up "Screen Calibration" in the ES Online Help, it should explain everything.
