Does anyone know the trick to getting Wilcom ES-65 Ver 7.1 to run on Windows XP SP-2? I had it running on XP a few years ago, but it would intermittently crash, so I switched back to 2000 pro. I just bought a used Sony Vaio, with XP SP-2. After installing the software, the program doesn't recognize/find the dongle.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you

Hi dmc,
Greg K @ Unique Embroidery & Printing helped me with the dongle issue. I still have the parallel one. Evidently when you reload Wilcom you also have to load the "HASP" driver, which I downloaded from the Wilcom site. FYI: HASP4 is for Ver 9 and below. HASP5 is for Vista...
I have one other problem that followed me over from 2000 pro to xp. For some reason when I scroll down the list of esa fonts, I come to all my ttf fonts. At that point the system crashes. Is there a way for Wilcom to only look at the *.esa fonts and not see the ttf fonts?
Thank you and Greg for the help.

Updates can be downloaded from the Wilcom Support center at www.wilcom.com.au/support. This site can be accessed for free by legal software users.
