Hi David,

Very odd indeed!

When you double click on the icon does anything happen? i.e.

a. Splash screen loads but the application wont start
b. No splash loads and the application starts?

Try this also:

Access your Task Manager which you can access by right-clicking on your Task Bar at the bottom and selecting Task Manager. Then select Processes.

Sort by Name / Image Name by pressing the "Image Name" header. Then keep an eye around the processes that start with "E".

Keep this windows open and double-click on the Wilcom ES 2006 Icon on your desktop. Watch to see if ES.exe starts. Monitor the "Memory" column and see what it reaches.

Finally, ensure only ONE ES.EXE is running. Sometimes the splash screen may not appear immediately which prompts the user to double click again. This could cause two ES.exe processes to run which essentially cancel each other out.

If there are more than one running select them both and click End Process. Then start Wilcom ES 2006 again and wait for a single process to start.

Let us know the results!

Brenden

Regards,
Brenden

When I re-sized a design larger than the original the number of stitches did not increase. What should I do, or what did I miss doing?

Seems, as if you are talking about an imported/opened former stitch based design like dst, right?

When opening such a design and want to resize it with calculating the stitches new you should go to options beyond the cancel button and check "objects/outlines

this sounds suspiciously like the problems people face with the illegal cracked version. My tip - buy the legal software and you wont have these problems.
